House for Interior is more than a design studio – it’s a space where bold ideas, vibrant materials and international experience come together. The studio is based in the heart of La Eliana, a lively village just outside Valencia. We’re lucky to work in a beautiful historic building with character – known locally for its colourful mural by street artist Julieta XLF. It’s a place that reflects who we are: full of colour, full of energy, and open to the world.We mainly work in and around Valencia, as well as in Marrakech and the Netherlands, creating interiors for boutique hotels, short-stay apartments and private homes – especially for clients who love originality, craftsmanship and colour. From our base in La Eliana, we develop full interior concepts that bring story, contrast and soul into every corner.

The People Behind the Project
Led by Nathali Meurs-Pas, the studio is shaped by a unique background in hospitality, design and travel. With over a decade of experience as a flight attendant and tour guide – and years working in hotels and restaurants – Nathali understands what makes a space truly memorable, especially from the guest’s point of view. That’s why our designs go beyond aesthetics. They are layered, considered, and always built around experience. We know how to create spaces that feel right – not just look good.
Even though this is a small studio, we never truly work alone. Every project is a team effort – shaped by a trusted network of creative professionals who each bring something unique to the table.
One of our key collaborators is Carline Batavier, a talented and passionate designer who also lives and works in Valencia. While Carline focuses on private residential interiors and Nathali specialises in hospitality and boutique concepts, their strengths perfectly complement one another. When they collaborate, bold ideas, strong visuals and a shared love for timeless design come together naturally.
To make sure each project gets the spotlight it deserves, we work with a handpicked team of professional photographers in Valencia, Marrakech and Amsterdam. Beautiful design deserves beautiful imagery – and we know exactly how to capture the essence of a space.
We also enjoy working with young talent. Our studio regularly welcomes final-year interior design students from Dutch academies, who bring fresh energy and insights from the latest design education. We’re also open to international Erasmus students looking for a hands-on internship abroad.
The studio atmosphere is dynamic, colourful and collaborative – a place where ideas flow, skills are shared, and creativity is constantly in motion. We believe in growing together and creating projects that leave a lasting impression.
