We look forward to welcoming you to Marrakech for a journey of art, culture and connection, centred around the 1-54 Art Fair. From your stay in a traditional riad to curated visits, shared meals and local experiences, each part of the retreat has been thoughtfully planned.

Before booking, please read the terms and conditions on this page. They explain the booking and payment process, room arrangements, cancellation policies and what is included in your retreat. The retreat requires a minimum of six confirmed participants to go ahead.

We take your privacy seriously. In this privacy policy, we explain clearly and concisely which personal data we collect, why we do so, and how we handle it during the booking and execution of your trip.

1. Who We Are

2. What Data We Collect and Why

We only collect data that is strictly necessary for the organisation and execution of your trip:

Identification and Contact Data: Your name, address, date of birth, telephone number, and email address to process the booking, arrange invoicing, and correspond with you.
Passport Details: If required for booking domestic flights, obtaining permits, or processing visa applications at the destination.
Special Category Data (Dietary and Medical Requirements): Information concerning your health (such as allergies, medical conditions, or mobility restrictions) and dietary preferences. We process this data strictly on the basis of your explicit consent, ensuring a safe and comfortable travel experience.

3. Sharing Data Outside the UK/EU

To organise your trip outside Europe, we must share necessary information with our local partners at the destination (such as hotels, local guides, and transport providers).

Please note: Countries outside the United Kingdom (UK) and European Union (EU) do not always offer a level of data protection equivalent to the UK GDPR or EU GDPR legislation. We only share data that is strictly essential for the execution and safety of your trip. We never sell or rent your data to commercial third parties.

4. How Long We Retain Your Data

We do not store your data longer than necessary:

Travel and Booking Data: We retain this data for up to 7 years after the trip, in compliance with our statutory financial and tax administration obligations.
Special Category Data (Medical/Dietary): This data is permanently deleted from our systems no later than 30 days after the completion of your trip.
Newsletter: If you have subscribed to our newsletter, we retain your email address until you unsubscribe via the link at the bottom of the email.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to access, correct, or erase the personal data we hold about you. You can also withdraw your consent for processing medical data at any time (withdrawing consent prior to the trip may, however, affect our ability to execute the travel arrangements).

If you feel we have not handled your data correctly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the relevant data protection authority, such as the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) or the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
