Another inspiring project by Masquespacio is Kaikaya, a fusion restaurant in the centre of Valencia that combines Brazilian tropical vibes with Japanese minimalism. The interior is a bold celebration of contrast and harmony, using unexpected combinations of textures, shapes and colours to reflect the cultural blend on the menu.
The design features handwoven raffia panels, curved wooden structures, glossy green tiles and geometric patterns—all brought together in a playful yet sophisticated composition. Bright yellow seating pops against soft pink walls, while rattan, velvet and ceramic elements create a warm and tactile atmosphere. Kaikaya is a great example of how interior design in Valencia can push boundaries without losing balance. It’s a space that feels both energising and welcoming—perfectly in tune with the city’s creative spirit.

Where brazil meets Japan
For anyone who loves unique restaurant interiors, full of character and clever material use, Kaikaya is a must-see.
More = more
Masquespacio’s signature style—playful, bold and rooted in storytelling—can also be seen in other restaurant interiors across Valencia, like the tropical-inspired Kaikaya. But that I will show in another blog!
