I love taking you along to places in Valencia that truly inspire me. This design duo that always manages to surprise and impress me is Masquespacio. Their work is bold, imaginative and full of personality—just like their project La Sastrería in the Cabañal district. It’s one of those places where everything comes together: story, colour, and a strong sense of place.

The story behind the Fishing village Cabañal
As an interior designer in Valencia, I love exploring places that stand out for their bold use of materials, form, and colour.
One studio that never fails to impress is Masquespacio—a Valencia-based design duo known for their innovative and expressive interiors. Their project La Sastrería, located in the heart of Cabañal, is a perfect example of how interior design can tell a local story through thoughtful material choices, organic shapes and a daring colour palette. From handcrafted tiles to sculptural ceramic elements and custom furniture, every detail has been carefully curated to create a layered, sensory experience.
More = more
Masquespacio’s signature style—playful, bold and rooted in storytelling—can also be seen in other restaurant interiors across Valencia, like the tropical-inspired Kaikaya. But that I will show in another blog!
